     Job Duties : 
    Distinguish areas where coatings have failed and rust or corrosion is present from areas that are just dirty or have staining. Painting Inspection of TANKS, Internal lining of vessels, process piping, vessels, skids and different equipment. Reviewing of Method of Statement (MOS), Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and reports prior submission to TOTAL Energies. Carrying out surveillance and issue NCR if there is any Nonconformance for the sub-contractor. Conduct Training to Subcontractor QC's, Supervisor, Foremen, worker for maintaining the quality standards monthly. Define conditions according to international standards; categorize damage as localized or scattered. Co-ordinate with Project Management Team (PMT) for technical queries, log book entries, NCR’s on daily basis & follow for closing & taking necessary corrective/preventive actions within the scheduled time. Supervise and monitor all surface preparation, coating, clock spring and contour wrapping to ensure conformance with client specifications, requirements and international standards. Verify complete paint system is in accordance to client specification. For surface preparation activities the information required will include, method used, original substrate condition, abrasive type, degree of cleanliness achieved, profile achieved, identity of plant and times of starting and completion. On site routine inspection records of all Paint defects as sagging, blistering & chalking and other faults of application of paint Conversant with application of all types of thermosetting and thermoplastic Coating and Painting Material. HOT AND COLD INSULATION Inspection of thermal insulation of various process piping. Hot insulation for piping and vessels using calcium silicate slabs, mineral wool blankets, fiber ceramic blankets and preformed sections. Cold insulation using pre-formed sections and slabs of PIR/PUR, Cellular glass and foam injection. Hot insulation for pipeline and vessels (calcium silicate slabs, mineral wool blankets, loose fiber glass, fiber ceramic blankets and pre-formed sections. Cold insulation (pre-formed insulation polyurethane, preformed cellular glass and foam injection into cladding jacket) for pipelines and equipment.
