I have a strong desire to finish tasks as efficiently as possible, a great team player and vastly open to learning. CAREER OBJECTIVE
To develop, optimize, oversee and troubleshoot chemical manufacturing processes ensuring both product quality and safety. To design, simulate and integrate given unit operations in any given industry, all objectives with – ethics, commitment and loyalty being my pillars.
INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
JULY 2022 TO PRESENT; Technician line 5 packaging department under Diversey at Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL), Kampala Uganda.
Responsibilities
• Carry out laboratory tests for caustic concentration and carbonates in the bottle washer.
• Ensuring the bottles are clean.
• Ensuring that chemicals e.g lube responsible for lubrication on the conveyors, divomask responsible for removing caffs on the bottles. are on the line.
• Ensuring that all conveyors have lube.
• Charging caustic in the bottle washer.
• During maintenance, returning caustic to the sedimentation tanks and after maintenance returning caustic from the sedimentation tanks to the bottle washer.
• Foaming of the filler.
Other responsibilities
• Supporting at the bottle washer in case of an emergency.
• Supporting working in the brew house in case of an emergency.
JUNE 2021 TO MAY 2022; Researcher
Production of emulsion paint using cheaper and safer raw materials.
Status: Published in the Engineer’s Journal Volume 1 Issue 2
• Produced emulsion paint from cheaper and safer raw materials and compared with the present paint in the industry.
• Performed physiochemical and biological water analysis tests on both the wastewater and the obtained distillate to determine efficiency of solar distillation system
• Compiled a detailed final year project research report capturing the objectives, methods, results.
MAY 2019 TO AUGUST 2019; Water plant department intern under Diversey at Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL)

• Water plant analysis
• Collecting all water samples within the brewery and analyse different parameters
• Working with utility personals to ensure thorough water treatment
• Documentation of laboratory data.
• Keep an updated data analysis of all water samples everyday
• Keep an updated data analysis on the daily chemical usage
• Ensure that water is well treated and meet the quality standards of Diageo before use
• Trouble shooting to find out the problem if any water parameters is out of specification and find the immediate solution.
