  • During COVID-19 period, I lobbied for a car sticker from MFI apex body (AMFIU) to enable EAPIL’s operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out assessment of EAPIL’s financial management systems and determine inherent risks to EAPIL SMEs and investment projects. For this purpose, complete review and analysis of available internal and external diagnostic reports available and supplement with additional studies if warranted and feasible.
  • Work in a multi-task situation with SMEs, investment firms, small farmer groups and other stakeholders to achieve the overall goals and objectives.
  • Designing new financial products for SMEs and investments especially those institutions dealing in financial services with particular attention paid to accessing funds to farmers groups in the rural areas.
  • Work with SMEs and value-chain players to recognize needs and support activities that foster development and empowerment in the communities.
  • Projecting credit risk assessment, control and mitigation and recommend appropriate risk mitigating measures in SME project that enhances risk-based business growth, strategic business growth and management notwithstanding my expertise in finance, accounting, auditing, fraud, delinquency management.  This helps to evaluate the project viability and forms the way for the future funding.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Harmonize THPU management to provide the established work plans, budgets and strategic objectives in line with the policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.
  • Cooperate with the other staff in sub Saharan Africa and the global Hunger Project in New York.
  • Ensure implementation of the organisation Value Chains and microfinance Service activities and integrate them with Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) among women and men groups within the epicenter strategy.
