BRIEF STATEMENT
I am a male Ugandan who is honest, committed, organized and adaptable administrative assistant with four years’ experience working in various office environments. My attention to detail and excellent time management skills means that every task is completed efficiently and to the highest possible standard. I have a calm and patient disposition meaning that I am able to work effectively under pressure and focus on the task in hand. I am proficient working in a team, but also work well independently. In my previous role, I was responsible for providing administrative support to a large sales department reporting directly to the regional sales manager. To succeed in this role i had to be exceptionally organized and demonstrate strong communication skills. In my next role, I am looking to take on new challenges and additional responsibilities.
My work experience I gained during my time at school mostly when I was at Makerere Business School where I studied International business for a year. However, after a year I transferred to Cavendish University where I pursued a degree in International relations and diplomacy.

Procurement/Pricing Officer (August 2019 to date)
Am currently tasked with pricing both new and old stock within the store and draw monthly reports which tally sales and profits made on the different products. This includes a continuous result of market surveys and vendor approvals.

Retail Operations Assistant (June 2018 – January 2019)
I have currently been working with the above company and attached to the retail department, to bridge the gap between territory managers and the operations excellence team. I was able to promote all Shell standards at the Petrol retail sites through various trainings and following up progress. During my course of work I have attained incredible skills of management and creating sustainable change at the sites and within the retail department while excusing ongoing projects.

I was employed as a cashier and then promoted to a manager for a period of four years during my time at school and Vivo Energy. I have acquired much customer service skills and book keeping which involved stock count. I was placed under the marketing department where I worked with a team and promoting company products. In most occurrences I had to train pump attendants on how to sale products where staff members weren’t and working with the different agencies during branding. Within the company my role rotated from office to office.

I was called back by the company to support the sales team because of my excellent performance during the previous training. I tracked tank capacities and sales performance per product in every region around the country which information was vital to the company growth.
