Duties & Responsibilities Operations leadership and management • Foster a B2P Uganda company culture which supports the health and performance of the team and creates a positive work environment. • National Government Partnerships - prioritize sites for proposals; manage recovery of reimbursements from partners; report monthly on projects; support SPM in quarterly reporting o Schedules – develop yearly construction schedule; approve site schedules and oversee schedule compliance; manage schedule templates and review actuals vs plans • Procurement – manage cable/clamp inventory; approve POs; perform Kampala procurement; manage contracts with suppliers and transporters; negotiate rates; ensure procurement documentation is completed satisfactorily o Administration - keep Salesforce and Box updated; ensure all project documentation is properly tracked and recorded; review post build reviews • Strategy - update and manage the risk register for Ugandan Operations; advise and track on Uganda Ops OKRs o Safety – oversee operational compliance with B2P safety standards and protocols • Fleet Management – lead fleet management and maintenance, with support of the Driver Financial Management and Control • Develop and manage yearly program budget; approve funds requests from field teams; approve BOQs; manage BOQ templates and review actuals vs plans • Review and approve monthly finance reconciliations Job Description Uganda Operations Manager • Oversee the mobilization, management, and accounting of all financial resources in the B2P Uganda office • Work with the finance team to ensure efficient and compliant financial management in the allocation/budgeting and accounting for program resources • Serve as authorized signatory overseeing expense approvals. Work with the finance team to ensure regulatory compliance and business management • Ensure proper use of systems in country, as well as data quality and security to enable reporting and analysis Staff management & teamwork • With support from the HR department, ensure high-quality Operations staff are hired, trained, and retained • Lead HR-related matters, with support from the HR department, for operations staff • Oversee Project Managers, to ensure the safe construction of highquality bridges that are delivered on-time and on-budget • Oversee Driver, to ensure fleet management and maintenance is timely • Indirectly oversee Corporate Coordinator to ensure that all projects involving corporate teams are planned and delivered as necessary • Indirectly oversee Assessments Engineer to ensure that prioritized districts are assessed on time • Indirectly oversee the Design Engineer to ensure prioritized sites

Duties & Responsibilities Construction Management • Oversee and manage the construction of up to three (3) bridge projects simultaneously and up to 12 bridges per year. • Ensure that bridge construction teams (foreperson, masons, and local laborers) are performing construction activities as per Bridges to Prosperity safety protocols. Perform safety inspections off site when work is underway and implement any safety related changes immediately. • Provide construction management oversight for forepersons, masons, and local laborers. • Organize construction logistics including but not limited to: delivery and storage of equipment and materials. • Develop the program of work and strategy to ensure the success of each project. Resolve work delays to ensure completion of project as per program of work. • Assure compliance with B2P construction protocols and notify Uganda Engineering Manager of any as-built changes that differ from approved design drawings. • Manage quality control as per Bridges to Prosperity’s quality control protocol. • Organize and facilitate maintenance trainings with beneficiary communities. • Report on project progress to partner. Project team relations • Manage a team of up to three (3) forepersons, plus masons and local labourers. • Review and approve local labor attendance and payments submitted by the foreman. • Interpret technical information and construction drawings and explain to forepersons. • Work harmoniously with rural communities, local government partners and other B2P employees to ensure projects are being delivered timely and effectively. • Maintain positive morale within B2P team and work cooperatively with fellow team members. Donor relations • Respond to requests for information prior to donor team arrival via email or telephone. • Participate in construction and safety industry calls. • Review and update Uganda suspended and suspension construction plans. Review change proposals submitted by industry teams and provide your comments to the Uganda Industry Coordinator. • Update tool inventories and wish lists. • Work with the industry team leads to review construction activities and daily work plans before each day of work. • Lead construction and safety meetings each morning while on site. • Ensure a safe work environment is being kept at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities • In-charge of site location feasibility surveys & profiling • Preparation of project BOQ’s & reconciliation after implementation • Site civil works supervision (foundation casting & tower assembly) • Participate in the land acquisition process straight from owner verification, initial negotiations, documentation processing for the project sites • Coordinate with the Soil testing teams and foundation design conformation for tower bases based on test results. • Reconciliation with contractors during interim payments to ensure the invoiced works are in tandem with actual works delivered. • In-charge of tower sharing (collocation) projects which included equipment slab and shelter works, antenna brackets installations and power distribution set up.

Duties & Responsibilities • Team player, fiber route feasibility survey & mapping for both aerial & underground sections • Team member, Detailed design and preparation of project drawings • Team member, Way permit acquisition with the different government stake holders like UNRA, NFA, UWA, NEMA & Private owners, • Supervision of sub-contractors work to ensure conformance with design specifications and preparation of as-built drawings • Project hand over and acquisition of the Final Acceptance Certificate • Coordinate and attend local community sensitization meetings Team member, Sub-contractor briefing & dispute resolution team
