Candidate Profile

I graduated as a Graphic Designer in the UK many years ago. I started my career in advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi, London where I worked as a copywriter/art director. Accounts I worked on included British Airways, Toyota, P&G, Allied Breweries etc.  After 6 years in London advertising I moved to South Africa and worked as a group head at JWT handling such accounts as Ford Motors and SA Telekom.

A few years later I moved to Kenya to start up the JWT office. After 2 years I moved to Europe to work at Leo Burnett Prague, handling a huge range of ABL accounts, Eurotel, CocaCola, Vitana, General Electric, MultiChoice etc.

I then moved to Scotland and opened a graphic design studio with my partner. We had a lot of small clients in and around Sterling, mainly small businesses and shops.

About 15 years ago I moved back to Kenya for a couple of years working in various ad agencies such as REd Sky, Leo Burnett and Scanad. About 10 years ago I moved to Uganda. Here I have worked for Saatchi (Q&G), Incogniti, Moringa, Fideli and currently Abba Vater.
