Civil Works Project Manager, 2020  –  To-date

• Managing all construction activities following project approvals and coordinating site logistics, phasing and staging.
• Providing direction to personnel responsible for project execution, equipment, and transportation.
• Developing and maintaing contractor relationships in order to support bid solicitation, review and award of contracts. 
• Reviewing and analyzing blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and prepare estimates.
• Providing value engineering recommendations to achieve budget objectives in BTS2020 site building projects.

Clerk of Works, 2016 – 2019 

• Inspected project sites to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications, safety protocols and regulatory sanitation protocols.
• Inspected several Makerere University Walter Reed projects through the entire building process; from ground breaking to project close within budget and timeline expectations. 
• Reviewed, interpreted and revised drawings, specifications, material lists and samples of materials for compliance with contract requirements and codes.
• Participated in administrative, progress and on-site meetings with architects, engineers, and other staff to resolve various issues that arose at the site. 
• Maintained project records and prepared reports to include correspondence drawings, daily progress reports and time and material records.

• Implemented the site build and collocation works for all networks at both Eatonand ATC sites of rooftop(2) and Greenfield type (3) while a maning a team of 20 individuals.

Supervisor, 2011 – 2013 

• Supervised the implementation of the MTN Fibre Optic Cable Network (1058 Km) project; in Kampala hub sites (ground), Entebbe road (ground), Masindi , Lira, Soroti, Mbale, Mbarara & Kabale (Aerial). 

Contracts Manager, 2011

• Successfully supervised and coordinated the following projects; the Tieng Adhola palace, URA post Bunagana, extension of the Tororo Municipal Council, rehabilitation of Amil –Aber road (Apac District).
• Preparation of certificates, supervision and management. Leading over 5 individuals. 

Project Co-ordinator, 2010 

• Achieved seamless set up concrete works and deployed the MTN Ariel Optical Fibre Cable in Western Uganda (242 Km) including Masindi –Hoima –Kagadi –Kyenjojo districts. 
• Monitored sub-contractors in the completion of daily operations to ensure project progress and optimal performance.  

Site Engineer, 2010 

• Managed all  civil  works for the tarmacking project of  Oluka  road.  
• Successfully implemeted project cost control procedures and project monitoring to ensure quality construction and safety

Project/site Engineer, Technician, Workshops Manager, 2004 – 2010

• Carried out quality control deliberations on  Kampala –Masaka  Road Project (Northern corridor).
• Supervised and managed all civil works; including building classroom blocks at Rakai  PTC,  Kabukunge  PTC  and  drainage  works  in  Katwe; budgeting,  purchasing,  reporting, preparation of certificates, BOQ’s, costs and estimates and bidding. 
• Served as a trainee civil engineer carrying out survey and drainage works, placing and designing of asphalt concrete mix and quality control such as Marshall stability and core test.
