I am acting project coordinator currently supporting World Vision Maternal Newborn and Child Health project on Nutrition Interventions in Hoima district. I hold a masters of Public Health Nutrition from Makerere University Kampala and a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute. My experience is both in clinical and public health nutrition projects and Research programs. I have previously supported nutrition intervention like related programs; Timed and Targeted counselling (ttC) for the 1000 days (including community based Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT), Growth Monitoring and Promotion (GMP), community outreaches with an integrated approach (Antenatal care (ANC), GMP, EPI, PNC, IMCI for the Ugandan model),the integrated Community Case Management (iCCM), Community Management of acute Malnutrition (CMAM), Integrated Management of Acute malnutrition (IMAM), The Baby Friendly Health Facility Initiatives (BFHI) for Uganda, Nutrition in HIV/AIDS, Micro-Nutrient interventions, and Monitoring and Evaluation for MNCH programs as a contribution to the acceleration of Health Care specific Sustainable Development goals.
