4. ZADCO, UZ 750 Programme; UAE (July 09 – Dec 13)
As one of the first Project Managers to join this mega UZ 750 Programme, I have worked throughout all of
the phases major field development project from the early definition and development stages throughout to
the realization, construction, commissioning and handover stage. As a key member of the core programme
team, I held several leading roles during the Concept and FEED engineering design, tendering phase and
was subsequently responsible for the delivery of key projects during the EPC execution phases as follows:

• Islands Facilities Team Leader; July 10 – Feb 13
• Facilities Projects Manager; July 09 – July 10
The concept and FEED engineering work required ~ 500,000 man hours, and the programme cost estimate
was around USDB 17. The UZ 750 Programme scope covered the dredging and construction of 4 artificial
islands, oil & gas process facilities on all Islands, a network of subsea interconnecting pipelines & cables and
riser platforms and flare structures. Other elements of the project included: on islands EPS phase (Early
Production Schemes) process facilities and non-process facilities (such as essential civil works, operational
support buildings and temporary roads on islands etc.) & brownfield tie-ins on existing production facilities;
Production Build-up phase (PBU) process facilities on all islands and modifications to change from EPS to
PBU; PBU non-process facilities such as civil works, operational support buildings and permanent roads etc.
on the Islands. Islands facilities were designed based on modular execution; Islands facilities included a total
of 178 different pre-fabricated modules with a total weight of 118580 MT. Prior to EPC award, a global
prequalification survey was conducted to select a restricted list of fabrication yards with the required
technical capabilities, HSE & quality systems, capacities and their current and forecasted workloads.
Additional responsibilities covered: – A member of the Company’s extended management team; represented Company and multinational
shareholders’ interests in joint steering committees for large size – new fields development Projects. – Regular acting responsibilities in the capacity of Major Projects Manager, Program Manager for extended

ITT document and completed tender clarification and evaluation & provided award recommendation. (Project
Cost ~ 400 million USD)
The GTP (Gas Treatment Plant) was a critical brownfield project to expand the existing compression facilities
located on the Central Offshore Complex in Zakum field. The major scope of work included 2 new LP gas
compressor modules of 77 MMSCFD capacity each; Enhancement of the existing Primary treatment unit gas
handling capacity of 115 MMSCFD to 230 MMSCFD. Additional facilities included: glycol regeneration package,
gas/export gas exchanger, propane chiller, refrigeration package, new secondary gas exchanger and two
new fuel gas exchangers for superheating fuel gas to 90°F and 48″ suction header. Modification and
expansion of all impacted utility systems and F&G and instrumentation controls systems including the
upgrade of the specialized compressors control package. – Managed the Consultants FEED progress and development activities towards achieving project technical,
commercial, schedule, and HSE and Quality Objectives. – Managed a group of multidiscipline engineers and SME for the development of the FEED and ITT documents. – Regular interface, coordination and engagement with ZADCO Field Operations and Maintenance team and
ADMA OPCO to determine the required shut down duration and timing. – Organized sector analysis workshop review sessions with ADMA OPCO to determine the location of the new
riser platform required for new 24” Pipeline (interconnecting with ZADCO Central Complex) and associated
Pig Receiver, Slug Catchers / Condensate Pumps (Scope by ADMA – OPCO). – Organized several site verification, surveys to ensure thoroughness FEED level design and stipulated
