I am an enthusiastic and organised professional with experience in high-level executive support roles in procurement and logistics management, customs clearing and forwarding, basic first aid, mechanics, model city board, Highway Code and road signage, negotiation and transport planning. I have the ability to create new systems that increase organisational efficiency through identification of opportunities and taking full advantage of the best practices. Summary of roles Achievements:
In this role, I am was responsible for overseeing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation issues, planning and budgeting, scheduling routes, maintenance of vehicles and delegation of duties to drivers in line with organisational policies and procedures and at this position I had a team of thirty drivers for both hired vehicles and organisational owned vehicles and on this role I managed to improve the consumption of fuel to 10Killometers per litter , Improved team work among drivers , improved transport coordination with in the operation.
Summary of Achievements:
- Alleviate vehicle downtime through ensuring timely inspection and maintenance of organisational vehicles which has helped eliminate uncoordinated interruptions during service delivery hence reduction of maintenance and repair cost.
- Monitor, analyse and account for usage of the organizational fuel expenditure and generate reports in the TrackPoint system that would be presented to management for decision making
- Supervise the activities of all drivers under the fleet department to make sure they work as per the organizational standards.
