     Job Duties : 
    • Allocate equipment, warehouse space and personnel in accordance with warehouse managers planning schedule and pre-alerts. • Conduct daily operations / toolbox meetings with relevant warehouse teams. • Conduct daily spot checks to ensure warehouse staff adhere to rules and procedures as published in the relevant operations SOP. • Co-ordinate inbound, storage and outbound activities of shipments in a timely safe and efficient manner while ensuring full accountability. • Ensure correct stacking and storage procedures are adhered to as per SOP, warehouse manager instruction and QHSE rules. • Perform cycle counts, monthly stock takes with gap analyses and action plan follow-up in accordance with SOP. • Issuing of gate passes and delivery notes per truck/activity • Preparation of goods receipt and dispatch notes. • Ensure that all QHSE regulations are complied with to ensure safe working conditions and practices within the warehouse and yard. • Ensure security procedures are adhered to as per SOP in warehouse at all times and perform daily checks for compliancy. • Ensure that warehouse staff catalogues, archives documentation correctly and in a timely manner. • Maintain catalogue of all items with dimensions, volumes, description and supplier available from warehouse. • Provide reports as per warehouse manager /clients requirements. • Process receiving, discrepancy, and damage reports as needed. • Supervise permanent and casual staff in the warehouse to ensure there job activities are performed correctly. • Evaluate complaints received on shipments of equipment and stock, and take appropriate action.

    · Stock posting of all the depots receipt i.e., Eighth street /jinja depots/Entebbe depots/Banda warehouse and Jinja LPG plant. · Inter depot stock transfers as well as consignment sites · Stock blending · Densities & temperature check · Timely SAP Stock Movements (Z plants to E plants and between E plants) · Enforce Daily reconciliation between SAP and Petrostock by Site Managers for all products. · Daily checking of MMP and densities in SAP to avoid over pricing or underpricing in terms of landing cost. · Ensure all reversal have supporting validated memos · Timely posting of transfers between inter-depots. · Ensuring that there is stock in URA system for EFRIS invoicing. · Timely blending of stocks as per demand in SAP · Timely posting of LPG production · Ensures end month stock adjustments are done as communicated by the stock accountant · Ensure all trucks loaded and received are accounted for in SAP system · Minimize monthly receipt reversal · Ensure there is timely blended product in the system · Each staff record at least two near miss per month, and records should be kept · Perform gap analysis between stock control procedures vs group rules · Perform One stock takes per depot/Site (Jinja HCL, LPG, Kampala 8thstreet, BANDA warehouse and one consignment) · Report all incidents, accidents and near misses on site · Stop all acts, activities or operations deemed unsafe on site using the stop card
