Fred Barongo has broad work experience with over 15 years’ post qualification experience in operations management, financial management and project implementation at senior management level. He brings 10 years of experience managing donor funded programs and demonstrable skills in people management, financial planning and forecasting, monitoring, and compliance for donor projects. Mr Barongo combines technical financial/operations management expertise with highly
efficient staff management and professional procurement knowledge. He has demonstrated these skills through the management of projects and grants of annual budgets above $4,000,000 and people at the highest level in complex and challenging environments at Marie Stopes International and World Vision Uganda. He is currently a Management Consultant with PLAG and Associates.

Fred has a proven track record in developing, implementing and monitoring internal control systems, preparing financial statements and analysis, managing human resources and ICT governance. He has experience working in a multi-cultural environment and a stint in education as a part-time lecturer at University and other tertiary institutions from 2006 to date.
