Job Duties :• Review Risk assessments of all activities, processes, equipment and Material storage and handling. • Inspect workplaces & equipment to ensure they meet safety regulations. • Ensure that all the project site conditions, resources and interfaces are carried out in a healthy and safe manner, HSE issues e.g.: HSE plans, Contractor HSEMS etc. are reviewed and in line with group policy for health, safety and environmental management systems. • Monitor Subcontractor/ HSE management system and review HSE documents. • Approve work permit system and ensure all requirements on the permit checklist are being followed prior to the start of work. • Ensuring that materials are well stored in safe place, while segregating inflammable substances from combustible materials to prevent fire outbreak. • Promote occupational health and safety within an organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working • Ensure that workplaces conform with organizational procedures and safety standards • Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices and legislation • Investigate accidents, Injuries or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive Measures
