Job Duties :• Leading development and effective implementation of project M&E system, tools, templates, accountability and learning mechanisms • Providing technical guidance and undertaking regular field visits to support implementation of M&E and project activities • Building capacity of project staff and partners in results based M&E and management. • Developing data quality assurance processes to ensure data reliability, validity, timeliness of data entry and analysis and the harmonizing of all data collection systems • Collecting data on a regular basis to support the monitoring, evaluation processes and reporting of the programme’s KPI, using primary or secondary data sources • Taking lead in capturing qualitative results of programmes such as impact stories, success stories and case studies for sharing to enhance evidence reporting • Supporting the organization in preparation and dissemination of newsletters, progress reports, quarterly reports, end of project reports and others reports as per donor requirements • Organizing project learning and reflections and setting up of accountability framework for the project stakeholders • Developing and keeping track of a beneficiary database, based on key programme outputs, using tools to avoid double counts and ensuring timely data entry • Managing project database information on project beneficiaries and key project documents and packaging project information in various ways for use in external engagement and fund raising • Supporting programme team in producing consolidated quarterly and annual progress reports, including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in implementation and lessons learned and providing specific recommendations as well as ensuring timely submission of reports in accordance with approved deadlines and reporting formats/templates • Participating in the development of proposals and concept notes to ensure new funding.
