Job Duties : I am currently employee of International Hospital Kampala as Ambulance driver carrying out duties of picking, transferring/referring and discharged authorized sick patients to the specified hospital/destinations carefully and safely with a priority to the safety of the patient as approved by the supervisor and doctor on call in line with organizations vehicle/ambulance usage policy. Ensuring the provision of reliable and secure driving services by a) driving the Spotlight programmed vehicle for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items and b) meeting official personnel and visitors at the airport, visa and customs formalities arrangement when required. Ability to ensure cost-savings through proper use of vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle/travel logs to record areas travelled to, travel time, work hours and provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance fuel consumptions, plans and reports.
