Job Duties :• Checking the per-levels of all items and making timely orders for those items below the minimum required level • Checking the items upon delivery by the suppliers and receiving them into the store • Tracking movement of items ordered and addressing any delays • Managing the online inventory system • Negotiating and contracting suppliers for goods and services • Generating reports for food expenses • Doing regular stock counts to ensure good accountability • Testing the quality of products being delivered and continuous testing of items stocked for quality assurance • Overseeing inventory audits • Keep inventory records • Monitor storage of products including refrigerated and fragile items • Ensuring that purchases are within the company budget
