Sector Head- Public Sector (Centenary bank 01st March 2018 to date) ·         I manage and enhance the government business portfolio and solicit acceptable new relationships to meet the pre-set financial non-financial objectives. As such, I attained 56% growth in the Local Government Business in 2019 following staff sensitization, tracking of new Local Governments and Government projects, referrals, and pipeline.

·         I formulate Concepts, strategies, and innovations. These include but not limited to UNEB Accounts Receivable automation that led us to increase our annual collections from 17 Billion to 55 Billion , and average credit balance on account from 23 Billion to Uganda Shillings 88 Billion, NITA business concept that will enable us make collections for Government Agencies, supported in the extension of Agent Service channel to NWSC, UMEME,URA, Zuku TV etc.

·         I have maximized earnings for the bank from Top tier Relationships through mobilizing cost-effective deposits such as UNEB, Water For Production, Water For Sanitation, Development Response to Displacement Impact Projects (DRDIP), Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure Development (USMID), District Local Governments etc.

·         I prepared both the Technical and Financial proposal, participated in presentation of the proposal, supported our Retail function in the implementation of a three year 336.822 Billion Senior Citizens Grant Empowerment Project (SAGE) that will see the bank earning fees of over 14 Billion during the project period

·         I harnessed our relationship with Uganda Police Forces, UPDF, UWA and Uganda Police. This resulted into increase in our share of wallet i.e. staff loan & accounts from 17% in 2017 to 33% by the end of 2019. On the same note, I secured and consolidated our position from Uganda Police collections to over 80% as at the end of 2019

·         I support the Division in formulating the segment and divisional operation plan, budget and consolidating the activity plans

·         I establish new borrowing relationships for Government entities and Service providers. These include but not limited to Education Institutions, Local Governments, Power and Energy, Water, Infrastructure Development etc.

·         I manage the existing loan portfolio to ensure establishment of appropriate account plans, recommend credit facilities in line with Bank credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risks to an acceptable level.

·         I develop and maintain strong working relations with all existing clients at key levels to optimize the utilization of facilities.

·         I Implement and maintain complete control aspects i.e. financial analysis of statements of accounts, documentation, periodical client visits call reports.

·         I enhance, maintain, and deepen relationships with existing the Government of Uganda, as well as building new relationships.  As such, we increased our share of the business from 17% as at 2017 to over 30% as at the end of 2019
